We listen to you very closely during your initial assessment to get a full understanding of your whole situation, and do extensive and a thorough assessment of the physical presenting issues.
We use expert hands on treatment by our team of Physiotherapists to change your nerve, joint and muscle biomechanics, to then allow exercise and self management strategies to take over and maintain long term results.
What can you expect?
Our initial consults are 40 minutes to 1 hour, ensuring a thorough assessment and treatment and allowing time for you to ask any questions you may have.
In an acute situation your physiotherapist will focus on reducing the pain and limitations you are facing. They will explain their diagnosis in an easy to understand manner and prescribe specific stretching and strengthening techniques as well as giving advice on how to best manage when you leave the clinic.
Taping and the provision of supportive braces may be provided, allowing you to maintain a safe and protected level of functioning, without putting you at further risk of aggravation or injury.
Once your levels of pain have been minimised your physiotherapist will work with you in preventative strategies for re-occurrence and to help provide you with lasting results. These may include:
